Enlace Judicial is a mobile application designed to provide comprehensive information about legal processes that can be initiated without the involvement of a lawyer. It also offers insights into alternative dispute resolution methods, community judicial facilitators, and public defense services provided by the Judicial Branch of the Republic of Panama.

Users engaged in Electronic Judicial File procedures will receive timely alerts regarding actions, notifications, and pending tasks through this application. This feature enhances communication and keeps users informed throughout their legal journey.

The application allows users to verify the credentials of individuals authorized to practice law in Panama by simply inputting their identity card number, ensuring immediate access to relevant information.

As a public service initiative, Enlace Judicial facilitates access to justice by pinpointing court locations across the nation, enabling users to obtain further information or initiate procedures based on their respective areas through the app.

To function effectively, the application requests the following permissions:

• Location: To utilize your location for finding judicial offices where you can conduct legal procedures.
• Identity: Access is needed to user identification information for managing multiple user functionalities on the device.
• Photos/Media/Files: Required access to device files for processing images, caching information, and saving downloadable documents within the app.
• Storage: Necessary for managing files on the device, caching data, and storing documents that can be downloaded via the application.
• Device ID: Access is required to device information for identification purposes.
• Display over other apps: This feature allows external notification alerts (push notifications) to be displayed to lawyers who log in and set up their accounts for such communications.
• Run at startup: Enables the application to launch automatically when the device is turned on.
• Internet access: Essential for loading information in real-time.
• Vibrator control: Access needed for notifying lawyers with configured alerts through vibration settings.
